HAMMERSMITH DOG TRAINING CLUB

*Hammersmith Dog Training reopens on June 1st with a new four week daytime Puppy Foundation Course limited to six puppies aged 8-14 weeks at start date and two six week Basic Obedience courses starting at 7:15 and 8:15 p.m. on Thursday June 3rd.

We ask that applicants commit to attending ALL classes in these courses and adhere to any necessary tenants of the Covid meeting regulations and well as signing a Covid release form. For this summer session, we are limiting attendance to one dog/one owner and hope to return to our normal inclusion of other family members from the Autumn term starting in September.

Places on these courses are strictly limited upon receipt of a completed application form, which we send to you, and receipt of the course fee.

  • PUPPY FOUNDATION COURSE for puppies 8-14 weeks - 1 hour sessions, 4 week course (Tuesday June 1st - June 22nd) 10-11 a.m. (£75)
  • BASIC OBEDIENCE COURSES for dogs of all ages - 1 hour sessions, 6 week course ( Thursday June 3rd - July 8th) 7:15 to 8:15 p.m/ and 8:15 to 9:15 p.m.(£95)
  • ADVANCED TRAINING 9:15-10 p.m. upon arrangement.

    Hammersmith Dog Training Club was established in 1980 and is a friendly, informal club, where we run beginners pet training classes for dogs of all ages to help you to train your dog become socialised, outgoing and well behaved. We also run classes for fun obedience with clicker training, agility / games and preparation for Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards.

    The Club is recommended by the Kennel Club, Vets covering seven boroughs, The British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, The Blue Cross, The RSPCA, Dogs Trust, The Canine Behaviour & Training Society, The British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and The Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

    Our senior instructors hold full member status with The Association of Pet Dog Trainers and all our trainers and instructors regularly attend training courses to keep them informed of current reward based training methods. We find that our training works well for most dogs and endeavour to make that training fun and rewarding to both owners and dogs
